The words of the song were intriguing, the melody was exhilarating, and the voice was unforgettable. In 2 minutes and 33 seconds, Dan became a Neil Diamond fan. From that moment, he looked for every opportunity to hear that song again, and to his delight, there were other songs sung by Neil Diamond, and many more to come. Dan sang along to the radio, and was completely unaware of how he mimicked every inflection of Neil’s voice.
